Hansen completed the year $3,941,703 up, well ahead of nine other internet experts and much of it on Full Tilt before disaster overtook that company. He was chased by:

With the practical demise of Full Tilt Poker following Black Friday in April, much of the non-US nosebleed action shipped across to Pokerstars, where Finnish pro Ilari Sahamies was the top earner on $2,183,832 after a close contest for the top spot against Rafi "refaelamit" Amit, who ended the year up $2,105,597.
 
The largest pot ever played on Pokerstars - a monster $421,826 on September 7 played on a $200/$400 PLO table, was among Sahamies' achievements.
 
The mercurial Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom finished the year as the third top earner on Pokerstars on $1,472,695.
