Warning: BeTheDealer is not paying players
Max Drayman, the disputes mediator at online gambling information site Casinommeister.com, issued a rare warning against an Internet casino operator last week after being given the runaround for some time.
The main complaint involved a player who had been unsuccessfully trying to get a legitimate payout of some $33 500 for several months from Be The Dealer.com. The casino had proposed and committed to a series of installment payments but failed to follow through after the first payment had been made. The casino then skipped on two subsequent payments at which point the player asked for help from the player advocate.
The casino initially refused to discuss the case but assured Casinomeister that the player had been contacted with "a solution". The player had allegedly agreed to this, and the casino promised the missing payments within days.
It didn't happen.
Again Casinomeister approached the casino and was again told that a solution had been agreed to with the player. The player verified that a new date had been set for the payments. Those dates have again come and gone with no end to the issue, despite the fact that at no point did the casino dispute the monies owed.
Emails from Casinomeister and the player to Be The Dealer and to the casino manager now go unanswered. This situation has gone on for some weeks.
The following caution has therefore been posted at Casinomeister: "Warning: BeTheDealer is not paying players even after agreeing to payout terms. The casino manager repeatedly makes and breaks commitments with the end result that players wait but the payments never come. When the requests for help become inconvenient the casino people simply refuse to reply."
