ANOTHER POKER APP
Code Redman releases Poker88 for iPhone et al
The UK online games developer Code Redman has launched a new iPad, iPhone and iPod touch video poker app branded Poker88 as a free 11.2 MB download.
The objective of the game is to accumulate chips by betting smart on getting a poker hand from two deals.
Poker 88 follows the popular Jacks or Better rules and pays out on 9 different hands. It also has the high payouts of 9x on a Full House and 6x on a Flush.
This implementation of the classic game includes large fully illustrated and animated playing cards, simple gameplay and optional sound effects.
“Poker 88 is our third card game in the series," said developer Chris Redman. "The previous games, Pontoon 88 and Blackjack 88, proved popular with mobile card game players, and this one is similar in that if you’re good and the luck goes with you you’ll be able to play it free for extended periods.
"If not, the game gives you a few chips to play with after half an hour. You can buy more chips in the app allowing you unlimited play.”
Redman is an independent software developer specialising in Apple mobile device software.
