Pokerstars high stakes Action
Saturday August 31,2013 : MAJOR MONEY IN ONLINE HIGH STAKES ACTION
Bold pros continue to generate millions of dollars on the high stakes tables
The past week has provided another example of the high risk - big betting predilections of poker's top nosebleed players, with the High Stakes Data Base reporting the action at Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars high stakes virtual tables.
HSDB reports that Niklas 'ragen70' Heinecker was high on the big money list, earning $351,652 on Full Tilt Poker over the week and augmenting his profit last week of $1,897,290 in a bank account already swollen by his almost $4.5 million victory in live tournment profits from the GuangDong Asia Millions in June this year .
The list was headed by player 'Call_911' who took home $930,277 for his week's online wages - hard earned in 29 sessions totalling over 3,800 hands of action.
A nom-de-plume that is creating growing online railbird interest for audacious style, 'Denoking' was also hard at work over the week, playing 3,777 hands in 28 sessions to profit by $922,292, whilst Kyle 'KPR16' Fray creamed off $778,021 and Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius banked $592,661 in 45 sessions comprising 3,188 hands.
Several other players recorded sub-half-million but still hefty six-figure dollar profits on Full Tilt and sister site Pokerstars.
The losers produced equally big numbers, with player 'proudlikeagoat' heading the losers list on $1,022,271 despite playing 3,199 hands over 23 sessions, whilst Viktor “Isildur1” Blom endured one of his downswings, sustaining losses of $942,423 in 11,396 hands over 111 sessions.
On Friday Blom managed to recover some of his losses on the $400/$800 NLHE tables, where he mixed it up with old enemy Alex 'IReadYrSoul' Millar in an intense 30 minute exchange that saw Blom take away $204,000 in profits.
Giving a flavour for the action so far this year, the top winners at Full Tilt are currently listed as:
cottonseed1: $3.6 million
Ben “Bttech86” Tollerene: $2.8 million
Alexander “PostflopAction” Kostritsyn: $2.8 million
Rhje: $2.5 million
Niklas “ragen70” Heinecker: $2.4 million
