Huge Uk Lottery Win Still Unclaimed

11/8/09 - Twenty four hours after the winning numbers were announced in Britain's biggest yet lottery draw, the two winning ticket holders have yet to come forward to collect over GBP 90 million between them.

Lottery operator Camelot said there had been no valid claimants to the prizes, worth GBP 45.57 million each.

The winners have 180 days following Friday night’s EuroMillions draw to collect, or the money will be split between good causes.

“We are looking forward to the winners coming forward,” said a Camelot spokesman. “We have no valid claims so far.”

The previous record for a UK lottery win was held by Angela Kelly, a Glasgow postal worker, who banked nearly GBP 35.5 million in the same competition in August 2007.
