The 21st event at the World Championships of Online Poker (WCOOP) has ended with weaktight emerging the victor.

When play drew to a close, the online player finished with over $42,000, ahead of aldenpogi and sagwise in second and third place respectively.

A total prize pool of $262,500 was available to those who cashed in the tournament with first place weaktight taking home $47,775.

All of those in the top 80 cashed at the event, with the minimum taken home being $787.50.

Poker stars who hit the virtual felt but failed to make the final table were Daniel Negreanu, Isabelle Mercier and Barry Greenstein, who go by the online aliases of KidPoker, NoMercy and barry1.

At one point it looked as though aldenpogi could pull the WCOOP bracelet away from weaktight, but a hearts flush brought the eventual champion back onto the top spot.

A further 12 events are left in the WCOOP including the no-limit hold'em main event on September 21st. The last person standing in this competition will claim $10 million in prize money.
