Rohin Malhotra Joins ChiliPoker

Online poker company Chilipoker, which is among those sites granted French online poker licenses recently, has announced the appointment of experienced industry exec Rohin Malhotra to its management team, effective September 1.
 
A company statement says that Malhotra brings diverse experience across global media and gaming markets and will play a key role in helping the further expand the Chilipoker business.
 
Malhotra has worked across a number of gaming, media and licensing arenas. He was previously CEO of LA-based World Poker Tour, where he was instrumental in the company’s growth prior to its sale to Party Gaming plc.
 
Before this, his appointments have included head of programming and international marketing for Party Gaming, executive advisor with Fox Sports Enterprises, senior director for MTV Networks Asia-Pacific and a general manager with Fox Kids Europe.
 
He is expected to develop Chilipoker internationally, including the establishing of media, telecom and casino partnerships in regulated and new markets. This follows initial deals between Chilipoker and Ireland’s leading sports network, Setanta Sports, and France’s leading internet provider, Iliad-Free.
