Ladbrokes customer lands over a million
 
A young mother of three from Witney in Oxfordshire won GBP 1,364,745 million playing online bingo at Ladbrokes last week.
 
When Lisa Potter (33) placed the GBP 5 wager, she landed the third largest win in the history of the game and the biggest payout on a similar game in over three years, said a Ladbrokes spokesperson.
 
“I had a spare minute and wanted to get away from the football so I decided to log on,” said Potter.  "As soon as I saw the size of the jackpot I thought it was worth a go and I couldn't believe my eyes when it said that I'd won. I can't remember much after. It's all a blur. My kids came into the room and we all started screaming. It's like a madhouse in here."
 
Potter said she went online out of boredom to escape the Euro 2012 football and interestingly Ladbrokes reports a 400 percent upturn in women playing online bingo to pass the time while their partners are engaged in watching Euro 2012 matches.
 
“We're absolutely over the moon for her,” said Alex Donohue from Ladbrokes Bingo. "It's one of the biggest wins of all time and we've sent the champers along to kick off the celebrations. We bet she'll never moan at her man for watching the footie ever again.”
 
Potter plans on spending some of the winnings on a luxury family holiday, a new house and car.
 
“We're a normal family so this will change my life forever,” she said.
