What Happend To Federal Online Poker Bill

11/28/2012 :  FEDERAL ONLINE POKER BILL A LIMPING DUCK?

"Beating the Bushes" for Republican votes

The heavily reported and controversial Reid-Kyl Federal internet poker bill seems to be on a road to nowhere within the lame duck session of Congress.

Earlier this week, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told reporters outside the Senate chamber that the requirement for support from at least a dozen Republicans in order to pass the bill had not been delivered.  "At this point, we've got none," he said.

Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev., who supports the bill, told reporters he was "beating the bushes" to garner fellow Republican support but is unsure whether he can deliver the votes needed – "It's going to be tough," Heller told reporters.
