3/5/10 – Chile, hamered this week by a 8.8 Richter scale earthquake and badly damaged as a consequence, will not be hosting its leg of the Pokerstars Latin American Poker Tour as planned.

Scheduled for the third week in March, the LAPT Chile has been put on indefinite hold in deference to the tragic consequences of the earthquake and the rescue efforts in the aftermath.

In making the announcement, organisers Pokerstars offered condolences to all those affected by the disaster, and assured already registered players that they would receive refunds.

Pokerstars will answer any enquiries posted to lapt@pokerstars.net
