The European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP) will return in a two-week event beginning on November 24th.

Online poker fans will be able to qualify for the series of tournaments through a series of satellites, which are being PartyPokerheld this week.This is the third installment of the competition and the prize pool has risen to over $4 million.

There will be a total of 14 events to take part in, including no-limit hold'em, Omaha hi-lo and a number of pot-limit variants.December 7th will see the main event taking place, a no-limit competition with a buy in of $1,000. Those who enter are in with a chance of winning a guaranteed prize of $1.5 million.

In related news, the World Championships of Online Poker are currently taking place, with ten events completed to date.

The largest prize available in the series is in the no-limit hold'em main event where there is $10 million up for grabs. This will be held on September 21st and has a buy-in of $5,200.
