The European Poker Tour London will be holding the first high rollers event on the circuit.
A buy-in of £20,000 ($35,000) will be required to enter the tournament, which will take place on October 5th and 6th.
The winner of the competition will take a share of a guaranteed prize pool of £1 million.
Some of the games top players are lined up to take part, including four-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein and Alex Kravchenko.
Other players set to play in other events at the EPT London include female poker aces Vanessa Rousso, Vicky Coren and Isabelle Mercier.
Last year, the main event was won by Joseph Mouawad of Lebanon. He took down German player Florian Langmann to claim £611,000.
After the visit to London, Europe's poker stars will head to Poland to the Hyatt Regency to take part in the EPT Polish Open, which takes place between November 15th and 19th.
