3/3/10 – The Goldbet online gambling group's poker interests have chosen the Microgaming Poker Network to host their action, the network announced this week.

Founded in 2000, GoldBet is owned by one of the leading online bookmakers in Europe in terms of active players and selection of odds and events offered.

The partnership with Microgaming allows GoldBet to further develop its offering, giving sportsbook players access to an online poker product that is completely integrated into the existing platform.

GoldBet is a member of ESSA, an association dedicated to the guardianship of sports integrity across the sports betting industry, and also has an active charitable programme. The company pledges part of the profits derived from its bet acceptance to ONLUS SOS “Children’s Villages”, an international organisation working to help orphaned children.

Luigi Amadio, casino and poker manager at GoldBet said:  “We are delighted to be entering into this new partnership with Microgaming and have found that its online poker product offering more than lives up to its reputation as best in market.  With simplicity, usability and security being key parts of our mission statement, Microgaming software delivers in every respect. CSR is also a key component of the way we operate as a business, and we were delighted to find that our values in this respect were reflected in Microgaming’s own socially responsible programmes and activities.”

Roger Raatgever, CEO, Microgaming welcomed the new member of the network, saying: “We are proud to welcome yet another established and respected sportsbook operator to the Microgaming Poker Network.  We are working closely with GoldBet to ensure that our product is completely tailored in order to ensure smooth integration with their existing platform.”

Goldbet is to maintain its association with Microgame SpA's dedicated People's Poker Network for Italian players.
