I POKER network Dropping 2 skins
10/6/09 – Unconfirmed insider information that two skins on Playtech's iPoker Network – Dirty Stack Poker and Propaganda Poker – are on the way out of the network has been reported by the online information portal Poker News Daily.
A ‘high ranking source' told the portal: “Both rooms are currently not accepting deposits nor giving rakeback to players as promised and both will be leaving in the next few days.”
The news will come as no surprise to members of the twoplustwo poker message board, where reports of no-slow payouts have recently surfaced. Responding to these allegations, a spokesman for Dirty Stack laid the blame for the delays at the door of a pending merger with another Playtech licensee, Dafa Poker and said these were temporary, denying that the company was in trouble.
PND reports that its source has revealed that player liquidity and network-illegal rakeback practices may be a factor in the decision by the network to expel the two pokerooms.
Other twoplustwo posters have claimed that Propaganda Poker is leaving the iPoker Network and will soon advise players of its new home.
"One poster on TwoPlusTwo, ‘Mrbait' noted that Propaganda Poker was set to merge with Betsafe, which makes its home on the Ongame Network," PND reported.
“They got bailed out for their customer database and Betsafe promised them to secure funds for their clients,” the poster added.
There has been no response to InfoPowa requests for comment from the two poker rooms.
