One of the stars of the hilarious Peter Sellers movie series "The Pink Panther" is appearing on British television screens in a new online gambling advertisement from the Bet365 gambling group, reports The Guardian newspaper.
Burt Kwouk played Sellers's manic Asian manservant in the comedy films, launching fierce home surprise attacks to keep the bungling French detective Inspector Clouseau on his toes.
The Guardian reports that Bet365 is using the newly liberated UK television laws to launch a "Banzai-esque TV campaign" starring the veteran actor offering live updates of odds during Euro 2008 football matches.
The ad features Kwouk – who has also featured in James Bond films, as well as in Last of the Summer Wine and The Harry Hill Show – explaining the range of ‘in-play' betting options that bet365 offers live during matches.
