Renowned internet poker players Tom ‘Durrr' Dwan and Phil ‘OMGClayAiken' Galfond have both made more than $1 million playing high-stakes cash games so far this year.
At least this is according to estimates reported by Carl Sampson of Poker News, who said that Dwan could be in front by as much as $1.9 million.
David Benyamine and Hac ‘trex313' Dang are both apparently up around the $1 million mark, while three-time World Poker Tour titlist Gus Hansen is allegedly in a $1 million hole.
Sampson claimed that "most of the big name pro players don't play the nose bleed games", adding that he would not like to experience the massive downswings which can occur when so much money is on the line.
Dave Ulliott revealed in his Devilfish Poker blog earlier this year that he was down by a similar amount to Hansen during the World Series of Poker this summer, but won it all back in just a few days after a good run at the Bellagio.
