Online gaming firm PartyPoker are offering poker fans the chance to compete in the Asian Poker Tour (APT) in 2009.
Throughout December, the company is running qualifying tournaments for positions at events in the second season of the APT.
Gamers who earn places on the APT might expect to sit at the felt with some of the top names in the business, such as ten-time World Series of Poker bracelet winners Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan, who both appeared at the last leg of the tour.
The next competition on the APT will be held in the Philippines and could feature APT ambassador and winner of the PartyPoker Premier League Three JC Tran.
Those who qualify for the competition will travel to the Philippines before January 27th 2009 to play at the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel.
Players will be in with a chance of winning a share of a $1 million estimated prize pool.
