The first episode of The Real Deal! poker show was held in Las Vegas at The Venetian.

Among the stars who were in attendance at the event were Daniel Negreanu, Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth and Scott Nguyen.

During the show, eight of the world's top players compete against each other in live play.

Meanwhile the audience fill the last seat at the table, each member having an electronic console in front of them so they can make participate.

At the end of play there are prizes for the audience members who end up with the largest stack.

Another game that is played is called 52-pick'em, in which each audience members picks five random cards and possible win prizes for scoring hands, including a $1 million bounty for a royal flush.

The Venetian houses 39 poker tables with a range of variations on the card game, including Texas hold'em, Omaha and stud.
