IGT's new TMZ slot has an innovative feature.
 
Delegates to the recent G2E expo and conference in Las Vegas report that one of the highlights of a show that acknowledged the importance of innovation was IGT's new TMZ shot. Check it out
 
Themed on the popular US television shows "TMZ" and "TMZ Live" hosted by attorney and television presenter Harvey Levin, the prototype showcased a new concept in which the machine captures the image of the player and then cleverly manipulates and transfers it to the theme of the game on a video screen facing the player.
 
IGT partnered with Warner Brothers on the theme and its idea to introduce "…camera-based, photo booth technology that integrates a player's image on the game screen and in several engaging bonus rounds" and "…original voiceover work, photography and creative input" from Levin.
 
The new product is getting plenty of publicity, with Levin promoting its technology on his shows.
