Just a reminder that the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) is about to get going, and this year will feature 45 events No-Limit, Razz, Pot-Limit Omaha, Fixed-Limit Hold'em, 8-Game Mix, Pot-Limit Hold'em, Badugi, Omaha Hi-Lo, Fixed-Limit Omaha Fixed-Limit Triple Draw, H.O.R.S.E, 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo, Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo, and the newly introduced No-Limit Omaha.
 
With a guaranteed prize pool of $40 million already allocated to the event by PokerStars, it's likely to be another major Internet poker attraction.
 
There are three events for the high-rollers among you – a $2 million guaranteed No-Limit event on September 6th; an $800 000 guaranteed No-Limit Matchplay event on September 13th and a $1 million guaranteed H.O.R.S.E tournament on September 20th.
 
Last year, PokerStars (visit) awarded just short of $40 million in prize money to players in a total of 33 events, with the biggest winner the Main Event champion, who took home $1 265 432.
