The main event in the $1 million guaranteed prize pool UltimateBet Online Championship tournament ended this week in victory for player YungMoney209, who survived an entry field of 1 100 hopefuls to triumph after 15 hours of tough online poker.

YungMoney's reward for his talent and time was a check for $245 188 and change, and the respect due for winning the biggest tourney UltimateBet has run in its decade of operations.

YungMoney and TheBubble1 faced off in the heads up, with Yung emerging victorious after turning a pair of fours into a winning hand against TheBubble1's king-high. His opponent took home a second place pay check worth $144 615.

The pool was sufficient to generate cashes for the last 108 players left standing in the popular event, with one player picking up an extra $1 050 bounty payment for taking out the game's host, international poker ace Phil Hellmuth.

Speaking on behalf of UltimateBet, Hellmuth noted: "Over the course of the last 10 days, UltimateBet paid out more than $2.5 million to online poker players in 22 unbelievable events. This series was the epitome of epic for poker fans from all over the globe and our spectacular final championship event will be the talk of the online tables for months to come."

Launched on January 9th, this year's UBOC offered 22 guaranteed events spread over 10 days.
