Nevada's first – and so far onlly – Nevada licensed online poker room reaches a milestone
In just three months, Nevada's first and so far only licensed online poker room – Ultimate Poker.com – has recorded a milestone of 10 million hands dealt.
The milestone moment occurred Thursday on a 25-cent / 50-cent NLHE table, with the winner of the pot – “SteveKelly” – scoring $6.85 with an ace high during the hand, and then reaping an additional $5,000 bonus as part of the 10 million hand celebration.
Each remaining player at Kelly's table received $500 for being a part of the historic hand.
“It’s incredible to be talking about our 10-millionth hand only three months after opening the doors," said Ultimate Gaming marketing chief Joe Versaci. "It gives us a good opportunity to look back at how far we’ve come.
