But Phil Ivey and Viktor Blom fail to make the cut
 
Monday's fourth day of World Series of Poker Europe Main Event action saw the end of any dreams that Phil Ivey and Viktor Blom may have had of a bracelet in the prestigious competition. 

Monday's action saw Ivey and Blom in a procession of poker aces who headed for the rail, including Greg Mueller, Bojan Gledovic, Hoyt Corkins, Barny Boatman. Arnaud Mattern, Andrew Pantling and David Peters.

Both were eliminated before reaching the final table, along with a slew of other big names.
 
The 22 players who started the day were all that remained of an original starting field of 346, and when the chips were bagged up for the day only nine players remained, making up a final table of:

New York's Ronald Lee, who held the chip lead as the day started, is still very much a contender, second only to 28-year-old San Diego energy drink entrepreneur and Victory Poker.com owner Dan Fleyshman as the final nine compete for the main prize of GBP 830,401.
 
All nine in the final confrontation will earn at least GBP 69,754.
