It's Johnson all the way in main event triumph
 
The 2011 World Series of Poker Circuit Caesars Palace main event reached its climax over the weekend, with a final table that was decided in just over two-and-a-half hours.
 
The $1 600 buy-in event pulled in a field of 496 players, with many recognisable names among them, generating a prize pool of almost $715 000.
 
Final table competitors were led by Chris Johnson, closely pursued by Alex Santiago, Adam Hui and Brian England, and followed by Jon Seaman, John Kulish, James Martini, Dave Stann, Matthew Leecy and Derrick Kuenzel.
 
Johnson held on to his lead for most of the fast and exciting action, ending the session in the heads up with Brian England, where he was victorious, taking home the winner's ring, the title, a seat in the million dollar national championship next month and main prize money of $153 599.
 
England's second placing prize gave him a payday of  $94 944.
