WSOP Communications Director Seth Palansky says that the company has committed to running the WSOP Europe in the congenial Mediterranean surroundings of Cannes for at least the next two years.

Releasing WSOP Europe statistics this week, the organisers revealed that since 2007 over GBP 21 million has been awarded in prize money, with last year's main event winner taking home well over a million dollars.
