Event 29, the $1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Senior Championship at the World Series of Poker will be decided Thursday afternoon Las Vegas time after adjourning in the early hours of Thursday with four players still remaining from the field of 4,128
 
The game was suspended at level 31 with the blinds at 60,000-120,000 with a 15,000 ante and average chip count at 3,096,000.
 
Former WSOP champ Dennis Phillips appears to have the best chance of winning the lion's share of the $3,715,200 prize pool, leading the survivors with 5,335,000 chips, chased by Bob Phelps on 3,475,000; Hoyt Corkins on 1,960,000 and Allyn Jaffrey Shulman on1,620,000.
 
Busted out in the closing stages of play before a halt was called were fifth placed Bill Stabler, who took home $147,605, and Stuart Spear, whose 6th placing earned $110,416.
