Event 21 – $1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em – is in the World Series of Poker history books after a three day battle royale involving 2,799 entrants, and the winner is Belgian pro Michael Gathy.
Early Wednesday morning the Belgian player took the lion's share of the $2,519,100 prize pool – $440,829 – after defeating Jamie Armstrong in the heads up and sending him to the cashier for the runner up prize of $273,776.
