Sandeep Pulusani, a poker pro from Huntsville, Alabama is the latest bracelet winner at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, having triumphed in Event 44, a $3,000 buy-in no-limit hold‘em competition to claim the first prize of $592,684 and his first piece of WSOP jewellery.
 
To win, Pulusani had to survive a large field of over a thousand entrants, coming in to the final table after three days of tough poker as a low stack but finishing in the heads up against UK pro Niall Farrell and winning, despite a massive 8 to 1 disadvantage at the start.
