2015 WSOP Event 3

Tuesday June 02,2015 :  ROBERT MIZRACHI MAKES IT THREE AT WORLD SERIES OF POKER

Poker pro now ranks with his famous brother Michael in WSOP bracelet wins.

US poker pro Robert Mizrachi has two reasons to smile after taking down World Series of Poker event 3; the $255,022 prize, and his third WSOP winner's bracelet that puts him on the same footing as his brother Michael.

The $1,500 buy-in Omaha Hi-Lo event attracted a field of 918 players, many of them well known and respected names in the game, but Robert worked his way confidently to a final table that included Jacob Dahl, Don Zewin, Ryan Himes, Dominick Cuzzi, James Juvancic, Nguyen Tran, Bruce Levitt and Thomas Taylor.

Mizrachi dominated much of the action to emerge the chip leader in a heads up against Jacob Dahl. The two battled back and forth, with the lead changing, until the early hours of Saturday morning, when play was suspended until the following afternoon.

Back at the table on the following day Dahl held a 3 to 1 lead, but soon after play commenced Mizrachi was able to seize the initiative and leverage that into a win after just 61 hands, sending Dahl hope with a well-earned $155,333.
