24Hpoker Takes Over DailyPoker

Players will join 24hpoker database.

The online poker site DailyPoker.com has run out of financial steam and is being absorbed into 24hPoker, a subsidiary of network owner Entraction.

Posting on poker forums over the weekend, a spokesman for DailyPoker wrote:

"Unfortunately DailyPoker has not been able to raise enough capital to continue the company's operation and revenue growth.

"We have therefore settled an agreement with the biggest poker room in the Entraction
network – 24hPoker. We believe this is the best solution for both DailyPoker and our members.

"All DailyPoker members will be operated by 24hPoker from the 1st of September under good terms. DailyPoker will keep records of members and network structure for future events and promotions for the members of DailyPoker.

"By moving the client base to 24hPoker we ensure that our members are given the best promotions and terms in the network as well as best possible support. It also gives our members a lot of new products including: live sportsbetting, bingo, carribbean stud in the poker client as well as many new casino games. Live casino will also be introduced soon."

A press release from the network advised that its "online gaming site administrator iGame Limited" will take over the DailyPoker domain, which will join sites such as 24HPoker.com, 24HourBingo.com and 24HCasino.com in addition to the Scandinavia-facing PokeriHuone.com, CasinoHuone.com, C4A.com and BingoHuone.com in its portfolio.

Malta-based iGame revealed that DailyPoker.com’s customer database is to be merged into its 24HPoker.com brand with the amalgamation expected to be complete by the end of September.

“This deal strengthens our leading position in the Entraction Network,” said Niclas Lundqvist, brand manager for 24HPoker.com.

“Many competitors struggle to maintain their profitability so we’re certainly looking to acquire more skins both in and outside the Network. This provides old and new customers the most lucrative and competitive deals as a result of economies of scales.”

In related news, reports are currently circulating that two failed Rival Gaming-powered online casinos have been re-branded as Malibu Club Casino (was formerly Royal Apollo Casino) and Gibson Casino (previously known as Tradition Casino).
