The Gibraltar-based 32Red online casino has signed a two-season sponsorship deal with Italian football club Bologna.
 
A company spokesman said Tuesday that the deal is expected to boost the 32Red profile in Italy, where it has been a regulated and licensed operator since November 2012.
 
The marketing publication Drum reports that the deal includes both on and offline co-branding activities, stadium branding and the launch of an affiliate programme to market the 32Red casino to Bologna fans via the club website.
 
"We are proud to be partnering with Bologna, one of Italy’s oldest and best known clubs,” said Ed Ware, 32Red CEO.
 
“Our previous associations with Swansea City and Aston Villa helped establish 32Red as a trusted and leading casino brand in the UK and we see Bologna as an ideal partner to help promote the 32Red brand in Italy."
 
The Drum was awaiting confirmation from Red32 on the financial terms of the deal when we went to press.
