Thursday September 8, 2011 :  Listing will improve company's prospects says chief executive officer
 
Swedish-based online poker firm 5050 Poker Holding AB intends listing on Sweden's Nasdaq OMX First North market next week, according to a company press statement.
 
5050Poker Holding AB owns and manages internet gambling companies, primarily aimed at the European market with special focus on the Balkans, Netherlands and Germany. Its subsidiary 5050 Poker Ltd. operates the gaming portal www.5050poker.com.
 
The Company will reportedly make 50 percent of its shares available over a two-year period.  Its most recent share issue was fully subscribed contributing an additional 150 shareholders to its existing 580 and approximately SEK 5 million.
 
5050 Poker Ltd secured exclusivity in the Montenegrin online gambling market this week in a deal with MonteStars and Avala Casino.
 
A company spokesperson revealed that the firm's current casino and poker offering will be augmented to include sports betting by the end of the year.
