Saturday May 30,2015 :  WE CURRENTLY HAVE NO MONEY, 666BET ACKNOWLEDGES (Update)

Beleaguered UK online gambling firm says it needs more time to raise funds in order to meet its obligations to players.

666Bet players still awaiting long overdue payments from the cash-strapped online gambling company will be disappointed to read the firm's latest submission to the UK Gambling Commission – that it needs to raise additional funding in order to meet its obligations to players.

So much for the protection of players through segregated accounts.

In a website statement Friday the Commission gave an update, acknowledging that some players are still complaining about non-payment, and “have been unable to make contact with Metro Play as a customer support resource, which the Commission was informed would become available, has not yet been provided.”

The advisory noted that the Commission has been “…informed by [666Bet's Alderney-registered parent] Metro Play’s chairman and major shareholder that he plans to make additional funds available to enable payments to customers.”

The Commission assured players that they will be contacted and offered “…an alternative payment method to Skrill (most likely a bank transfer).”

Metro Play has apparently assured the Commission that it will improve its communications with 666Bet players by publishing a dedicated email address for the issue on June 1 (Monday).

Using this medium, players will be able to have their outstanding payments manually processed by the company once the relevant information has been furnished.

Presumably players can look forward to that key email addy appearing prominently on both the 666Bet and Metro Play websites come Monday.
