The market may be competitive, but there's still big money to be made all round in online casino operations, according to new figures just released by the 888 online casino, a subsidiary of the publicly listed 888 Holdings group.
 
In a press release Tuesday the company revealed that it achieved record levels of payouts to players during the month of September 2011, rewarding 43,006 casino players with a total of $356 million – the biggest monthly payouts since 2008.
 
Casino chief Itai Pazner said: "888casino's September $356 million payout and the record beating number of winners is really exciting news. We are happy to live up to our motto, ‘It can happen any minute!' and congratulate all our September winners on their good fortune."
