888Sport has become the sponsor of one of the premier races on the British National Hunt calendar at Sandown Park Race Course, the GBP 150,000 Grade 1 Tingle Creek Chase scheduled to run on December 6th.
 
Forming part of the agreement, 888Sport will also sponsor the London National Handicap Chase.
 
Itai Pazner, senior vice president B2C 888.com, said: “This exciting sponsorship deal firmly demonstrates our ambition to become a major player in British horseracing. We are truly proud and honoured that our growing brand is to be associated with what is unquestionably one of the biggest races on the National Hunt calendar.”
 
888Sport also launched its #LastWord fully integrated cross-media advertising campaign across TV, radio and on public transport in the UK, Sweden and Spain.
 
In related news, 888's director of social games Raz Bar Haim has left the company following a 10-year tenure at the firm where he held various senior positions.
 
Bar Haim will take up the position of chief technology officer at Marimedia Ltd, a proprietary technology solutions firm in the online advertising revenue sector.
