What is thought to be the UK's biggest ever internet bingo jackpot – GBP 510,049.26 – was won at Jackpot Joy.com as the week ended – on a 25p ticket!
 
Playing Bejeweled, a player identified only as Gill who has been a member of the site for just on a year, hit the big win, telling the bingo community on the website that she was so overwhelmed with the win that she almost fainted.
 
Jackpotjoy md Michael Saunders, said the win was a British record.
 
According to press material from the site operator, Gill is planning to spend some of her winnings on a new house for her and her children, and will treat the rest of her family to something special.
