Pokerstars puts down the big bucks for the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure main event
 
Next year's Pokerstars Caribbean Poker Adventure tourney's $10,300 buy-in main event will have a guaranteed prize pool of $10 million, the online poker giant has announced.
 
The event kicks off on January 7 at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, with the organisers confident that last year's entry field of 987 players will be beaten.
 
There will be 38 other events for poker fans to compete against each other olver the nine day poker festival, including a $100,000 buy-in Super High Roller tournament on January 5, and a $25,000 buy-in single re-entry High Roller tournament on January 11.
 
Satellite opportunities are already taking place on Pokerstars.
