Lee Richardson resigns from Boyle Sports

Richardson departs Boyle Sports after only 5 months "for family reasons."
 
Online gambling executive Lee Richardson, who signed on at Boyle Sports just five months ago as chief executive, is departing "for family reasons" according to company spokesmen.
 
Richardson will hand over his CEO responsibilities at the end of this (August) month to the founder and md of the company, John Boyle, who will run the company going forward. Boyle is believed to be very much a hands on md, and is thoroughly informed on all facets of the company's operations.
 
A former chief executive with software provider Chartwell Technology, Richardson joined Boyle Sports in March, taking over from Daniel O'Mahoney who left suddenly and for personal reasons after five years in the hot seat..
 
It is understood that Richardson commuted between the Ireland offices of Boyle Sports and his family home, which remained in England.
