Seidel and Scarborough battle it out in a tough heads up

In a tough, 182 hand heads up against the highly respected Full Tilt poker pro Erik Seidel, Cincinatti player Mike Scarborough proved he has what it takes in claiming the WPT Hollywood Open title and the main prize of $273 664 this week.

Facing a final table of Seidel, William Reynolds, Tom Marchese, Andy Whetstone and Ali Eslami, the man from Cincinatti showed both talent and aggression as he battled his way through to the heads up against the formidable Seidel.

Scarborough, who has previously claimed eight major live tournament cashes in his career so far, proved more than adequate for the task, beating Seidel after a spirited finale to a great tourney and leaving his opponent with a runner-up purse of $155 103.
