Peter Eastgate sells WSOP winners bracelet on e-bay

Peter Eastgate sells winners bracelet on e-bay

Danish online poker player, Peter Eastgate (23), who back in 2008 was the youngest winner of the WSOP Main Event is putting his winners jewellery up for sale on e-Bay.

Eastgate's justification for selling off the coveted winners bracelet along with prize watches stems from a desire to assist children's charities via UNICEF.

His e-Bay entry last week described the item thus: "The unique piece of a Corum bracelet weighs 168 [grams] and is made of 18kt White Gold paved with 291 diamonds and the face, which says “World Series of Poker 2008”, is Hand painted in silver and decorated with black and red card suits." The starting bid for the bracelet is $16,000.

Eastgate, who won $9,162,416 in the 2008 WSOP event, told online media reporters that he rarely wore jewellery and had decided to make better use of his prizes rather than have them lying around gathering dust.
