CHARTWELL TECH EXPANDS SHUFFLEMASTER AGREEMENT

Wednesday, October 12, 2011 : Amendment will allow Chartwell to offer Three Card Poker to a wider market

Amaya Gaming's internet gambling software provider subsidiary, Chartwell Technology has expanded its license agreement with Shufflemaster in a move that will permit it to offer legal operators the popular Three Card Poker game developed by Shufflemaster across a wider geographic spread.

Under the amendment Chartwell has secured rights to offer the game to operators in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands, which together comprise one of the world's largest online gambling markets.

The amendment builds on a 2009 licensing agreement, under which Chartwell also secured rights to market software based on other Shufflemaster proprietary games, including Dragon Bonus, Let it Ride, Fortune Pai Gow Poker, Casino War, and Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em.

"We believe that one of our key strengths is our intellectual property and our agreement with Chartwell is another example of leveraging our content across as many channels as possible, including iGaming," said Gavin Isaacs, chief executive officer of Shufflemaster.

Darcy Krogh, VP business development of Chartwell said the company has worked with Shufflemaster to bring some of the world's most popular land-based casino games to its expanding portfolio of gaming options.

"The opportunity to partner with such a well-respected North American gaming brand is fundamental to our focus on developing one of the most comprehensive gaming platforms for the regulated online gaming industry," he said.
