Ulric Jerome appointed to the board as a non-executive director
 
The Irish online and land gambling group Paddy Power plc has announced the appointment of Ulric Jerome as a new non-executive director, and as a member of the firm's Audit Committee.
 
Born in Paris, Jerome studied in France before completing a degree in economics in Montréal.  He was a Founding Partner and Executive Director of Pixmania, the only pan-European online retailer of digital photographic and consumer electronic goods, and was instrumental in the growth of Pixmania from a start-up to a business with revenues of over Euro 800 million operating in twenty six countries across Europe through bespoke transactional websites.
 
Jerome is a member of the Board of Directors of eCommerce Europe, an association representing companies selling products and services online to consumers in Europe.
