Prosecutors protest that Trincher has millions stashed around the globe and is a flight risk

One of the principal defendants detained in a federal government sweep on illegal poker in New York recently, Vadim Trincher  has been granted $10 million bail and could soon be out of jail, reports the New York Post.

Bail and home confinement was granted by Manhattan federal Judge Jesse Furman Friday despite the protests of prosecutors, who claimed that the Russian immigrant, who holds dual US and Israeli citizenship, has millions of dollars stashed around the world that he could use to abscond.

Lead prosecutor Harris Fischman said federal enforcement authorities are also weighing money-laundering charges against Trincher's wife, Elenea, who vouched for him in the bail hearing.
