Veteran Quarterbacks Pour Gas on AFC North Rivalry

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are neck-and-neck. Theyre both within arm’s reach of the top spot in their AFC North Division. Both clubs have seen monstrous performances from their veteran quarterbacks in the past several weeks and now face off against each other in a Week 9 clash with even NFL odds in the sportsbook. Never has a game been more deserving of Sunday night primetime.

In Week 6, the NFL betting community watched Joe Flacco erupt for 306 yards and five passing touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Little did we know then that it wouldn’t even be the most prolific performance by a quarterback in the division this month. Last Sunday, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger managed to one-up his rival with six passing touchdowns and a 522 passing-yard performance.

The two familiar faces have led their teams to greatness on and off over the course of the past half-decade, and now they’re ready to strike all over again.

Neither Baltimore nor Pittsburgh is a revered betting options when it comes to the long-term forecast, but we’re not ready to count them out just yet. The Ravens are 28/1 to win the Super Bowl, and the Steelers trail them at 40/1. Something has to give this weekend, and it’s up to you to guess which team will succeed.
