Legal expert Alex Latner must have impressed Playtech as the online gambling company's adviser whilst he was a 20-year veteran partner at the London law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner – the company has appointed him its permanent General Counsel.
 
Latner replaces David McLeish who departed Playtech last year, and will continue to give the benefit of his considerable experience in-house regarding corporate acquisitions, important industry transactions and legal disputes, liaising with his old law firm, which remains an adviser to Playtech.
