Q2 2012 launch planned for first foray into the mobile sector…and an interesting deal with Ho Gaming
 
The Montreal-based Amaya Gaming online gambling software group, which includes Chartwell Technology, has revealed its next commercial target with the unveiling of a new mobile product due for launch in the second quarter of 2012.
 
Suitable for mobile phones and tablets, the first tranche of titles to be made available will include the slots Streak Breaker, Bars & Bells, Dragon 8 and Lost Temple as well as blackjack and a selection of lottery games.
 
Amaya has also teamed up with Ho Gaming to provide the first tablet versions of Live Dealer blackjack, roulette and baccarat.
 
“Amaya recognizes that mobile gaming is fast becoming a standard as more players demand the convenience of portability in i-gaming,” said Darcy Krogh, VP of business development at Amaya.
 
“We are excited to be the first provider delivering a mobile Live Dealer product which will complement our comprehensive selection of mobile slots, table games, and lottery games.”
 
Amaya also revealed that more mobile games are set to be released throughout 2012.
