FIRST WOMAN TO WIN ASIA PACIFIC POKER TOUR


Korean Young-shin Im takes the prize
 
In a heads-up against Australian Michael Fabiano, Young-shin Im from Korea took home the title and PHP5,810,000 (USD 132,500).  She is the first woman to win the Pokerstars Asia Pacific Poker Tour.
 
The final event drew 236 players and a $22 3x Turbo satellite on PokerStars secured the Korean her place in the tournament.  Over the course of only two years of playing poker, winning the tournament marksYoun-shin Im's fifth cash on the Asia Pacific Poker Tour in the past 18 months.
