Australian gambling supplier to supply an online casino to AN Ohio racetrack casino
In its second move into online gambling in a week, the Australian gambling content supplier Aristocrat has revealed that it has agreed to provide its nLive online virtual casino to Scioto Downs Casino and Racetrack in Ohio, initially for the free-to-play application.
Aristocrat will link with Scioto parent MTR Gaming Group to create the play-for-fun online casino, building on its MTR collaboration on the Aristocrat Oasis 360 casino management system supplied to the Columbus, Ohio racetrack casino.
Again with MTR Gaming Group, Aristocrat has previously built play-for-fun casino solutions with Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover, Maryland and Island Resort and Casino in Harris, Michigan.
The Scioto Downs Casino and Racetrack online casino will also be linked to the actual casino at the track using Aristocrat’s nLiveLink technology, which connects the casino via the Oasis 360 system, a company spokesman revealed this week.
“After conducting extensive research of all of the available options, we chose Aristocrat’s nLive technology because its open architecture will easily replicate our brick-and-mortar facility,” said Jeff Dahl, president and chief executive officer of MTR Gaming Group. “A robust online presence is critical for the company’s long-term business strategy.
“Aristocrat’s solution has very strong content, such as skill-based games, table games and poker, and the platform is designed to extend our individual brand.”
Kelly Shaw, Aristocrat VP of system sales and marketing, said extensive data analysis shows play-for-fun casinos prepare operators for play-for-money sites.
“Data shows that operators who launch a free-play site establish new customer relationships in a new online demographic, which can be translated to a new revenue stream when online gaming is legalised,” Ms. Shaw said. “MTR Gaming Group is investing in our solution with this vision in mind.”
“Other suppliers are creating online solutions to compete with operators, but Aristocrat’s innovative nLive is a simple, turnkey solution that empowers operators to take their brand to players online.
“Simply, nLive helps properties extend their bricks and mortar experience and the open architecture of the platform enables the operator to replicate the best games experience for their players.”
Shaw said that nLive’s play-for-fun casino offers players a wide range of games including some of Aristocrat players' favourites like 5 Dragons, 50 Lions, Big Red, Imperial House, Miss Kitty, More Chilli, Queen of the Nile and Sun and Moon; table games like card keno, hi lo solitaire, jacks or better, pro blackjack and roulette; and skill-based games including backgammon, dominoes, poker, poker dice, solitaire and tournament blackjack.
nLiveLink links a land operator’s online casino to its land-based operation via Aristocrat’s Oasis 360 system, the most widely installed system in North America, currently monitoring devices at more than 280 casinos.
