The UK Advertising Standard Authority has scrutinized a Cozy Games t/a Big Bucks Bingo email promotion after receiving a single complaint.

The complainant challenged whether the ad was misleading as it failed to make clear that a wagering requirement applied before consumers could withdraw their winnings.

The ASA ruled that significant conditions should have appeared in the main body of the ad and that terms and conditions had not been explained sufficiently.

The promotion may not appear in its current form again.
