Australian interactive lottery retailer scores another deal

Armed with a Schleswig Holstein interactive gaming licence, the Australian publicly listed online and mobile lottery retailer, Jumbo Interactive, has signed up NordwestLotto, working through its German subsidiary Jumbo Interactive GmbH in Munich.

The company has already included Mexico’s Loteria Nacional and Pronosticos in its client portfolio, and has the US market in its sights following a Lotto Points Plus joint venture in partnership with Retail Gaming Solutions LLC.

Jumbo's chief executive, Mike Veverka, said Monday:

“With a prosperous population of over 80 million people and 65 million on the Internet, there is enormous potential for growth in the Internet lottery market in Germany. Based on trends in neighbouring countries, the German Internet lottery market is expected to reach $2.04 billion in [the next] five years.

“Jumbo Interactive’s 13 years of experience and reputation in growing Internet lotteries in Australia and industry leading software platform places us in pole position as the Germany Internet lottery market opens up," he said.
